MV Humboldt Explorer: Premier Year-Round Diving in the Galápagos
The MV Humboldt Explorer, part of the Explorer Ventures fleet, offers an exceptional year-round diving experience in the Galápagos. Completely renovated in spring 2023, it is one of the archipelago’s most modern, safe, and comfortable liveaboards.
With capacity for 16 guests, the yacht features 8 double or twin cabins spread across the upper and lower decks. All cabins have en-suite private bathrooms, individual climate control, and televisions. The main deck includes a spacious air-conditioned lounge, entertainment area, and dining room with island views. The kitchen combines local flavors with American dishes. On the upper deck, guests can enjoy loungers, a bar, jacuzzi, and an outdoor dining area perfect for relaxing between dives.

Diving and Season
The high season (July to November) offers more chances to see whale sharks but features stronger currents and cooler water. The low season (December to June) has calmer conditions, warmer water, and better visibility. Year-round, you can spot hammerhead sharks, eagle rays, sea lions, Galápagos sharks, and massive schools of fish.
